This beautiful metal heart pendant was made by one of Rose's students in the Have a Heart fanfold pendant class at the Pasadena Bead and Design show. Pasadena Bead and Design Show First Day

Today is the first day of the Pasadena Bead and Design Show. There are 3 more days (July 26, 27, and 28). So if you are anywhere near Pasadena, California, please come over. It's a fun show. Rose is teaching various jewelry making techniques as well as offering her lampwork glass beads and various kinds of jewelry. Craft Shows and the Dawn of Civilization

Many years ago, when a person made more of a product than he could use, he would sit at the side of a road or two crossing roads and barter it for products that someone else had to offer. This was the beginning of trade. Eventually certain areas became known as good places to barter their crafts which resulted in market places. Then people began to settle around these places of trade resulting in the beginning of towns. Thus, these craft shows were the beginning of civilization.

The Beadshaper has had a great show and teaching classes in bead crochet, viking knit, and repousee at the Bead and Boutique Arts Show at the Concord Hilton Hotel in Concord, California. Everyone here has been buzzing about Rose's student friendly classes. Students walk out at the end of the class with a new skill and a finished piece of jewelry. Penguins in Pasadena

The Beadshaper just ended a successful show at the Pasadena Bead and Design Show in Pasadena, California yesterday. It was a great opportunity for Rose to introduce her new penguin beads. A lampwork glass penguin bead is waiting for you to adopt online at Beadshaper .
