Craft Shows and the Dawn of Civilization

Many years ago, when a person made more of a product than he could use, he would sit at the side of a road or two crossing roads and barter it for products that someone else had to offer. This was the beginning of trade. Eventually certain areas became known as good places to barter their crafts which resulted in market places. Then people began to settle around these places of trade resulting in the beginning of towns. Thus, these craft shows were the beginning of civilization.
It's fun to think that participating in craft shows is like recreating the dawn of civilization. See Beadshaper Shows to see a list of art and craft shows in which the Beadshaper will be participating in the near future. Rose also offers handcrafted silver viking knit bracelets at the Studio Seven Art Gallery in Pleasanton, California.
